The South Fire Department is giving away free smoke detectors, and a member of the fire department will handle the installation. If you'd like to get one, contact Mark McCloskey at 608-393-3327.

Our small town here in northern Wisconsin is rich in history. The Town of Hiles is the headwaters for two of Wisconsin's premier rivers, the Wolf and the Pine.
